Our logo explained (:

We hummed and hawed over the logo design, ultimately deciding on a stylistic approach that was hand drawn by our founder.

A huge inspiration for the logo came from cursive writing and how it's becoming a lost art. Finding out it wasn't something being taught anymore was alarming. It's so often that during meetings, doodles arrive at the margin edges of our notepads and they are often repeated patterns or words sketched out in different type faces. This is how it came about, randomly sketching... as most great ideas do!

It is simply that, not over drawn, just the name emske drawn by hand, then mirrored and connected at each end. Then it was digitized and voila, it became our favourite emblem.
